Dr. Deeanna Burleson, PhD, RN, LtCol (ret), is a passionate voice and advocate for strengthening individuals, communities, and organizations. She brings over 30 years of healthcare experience in the areas of Emergency Care, Intensive Care, Home Care, administration, information technology, and mindfulness approaches to well-being and patient-centered care. Deeanna's experience in the complexity of the medical care system in the United States well positions her to work with any type of organization: healthcare or non-healthcare. Realizing the success of any organization or group relies on the strengths, capabilities and the well-being of each individual involved.
Her experience spans several sectors to include private companies, not for profit organizations, the US Military, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. She taps into a systems and trans-disciplinary approach to uncover the strength that is present and available in the individual and the organization. Her skills and knowledge are useful as an effective healthcare and organizational systems consultant, executive coach, program evaluator, and project manager.
As an organizational system expert, she has successfully worked with individuals and teams from small and large corporations, nonprofits and community groups.
